Scouting in the UK has a number of sections for young people across a range of ages, from aged 4 in Squirrels through to 25 in the Scout Network:
- Squirrel Scouts (4 to 6 years)
- Beaver Scouts (6 to 8 years)
- Cub Scouts (8 to 10½ years)
- Scouts (10½ to 14 years)
- Explorer Scouts (14 to 18 years)
